A dog who loves swimming gets an indoor surprise. His over-the-top reaction will make your day

Pet parents will do just about anything to keep their four-legged babies happy. From spoiling them with gourmet treats to providing custom beds, they shower them with unconditional love in every possible way. Likewise, when Tucker (@tuckerbudzyn on Instagram), an adorable Golden Retriever and a true water baby, started missing his time in the pool after it closed for the winter, his owner came up with the perfect surprise.

Ever since his owner closed their outdoor swimming pool, Tucker would sit in front of it, heartbroken, gazing longingly at the still water—almost as if he were wondering when he would get the chance to dive back in. Seeing his dilemma, the dog owner came up with an oh-so-delightful solution—an indoor swimming pool fit for their tail-wagging mermaid. "Hey, buddy! Guess what? It's your lucky day today! Do you want to go swimming?" the woman asked. Hearing his favorite word, he came dashing toward her with excitement. "We rented an indoor pool," read the overlay text as she shared glimpses of Tucker enjoying his time in the pool. Notably, Tucker was accompanied by his son, Todd Budzyn, who, just like his father, loved water adventures. "I think he liked his surprise. You know we couldn’t bear to see him sad, so we rented an indoor saltwater pool!" the pet parent revealed in the caption.
The Instagram reel received an overwhelming response on social media with over 21 million views. Meanwhile, reacting to the wholesome clip, @semocgirard commented, "Made me cry happy tears. Good dog parents. If everyone would do their best with their babies, there’d be no need for dog shelters." Similarly, @kathleencarlste praised the dog owner and said, "You are the best parents to your pups! This is so adorable to see their happiness at the pool. Thank you for sharing!" @mafaldaglourenco wrote, "The paws underwater! They were thrilled about this! Congrats, Mommy, you are the best!" @madelinecarlson shared, "From depressed to the happiest dog in the world with one word, that is 'swimming.'" @edithgarreau, another dog owner, revealed, "My dog is the same with our pool. It took him a few weeks to stop asking for swimming. What a funny and good idea! I wish there was an indoor pool near us. Thanks for sharing the idea."

On the other hand, @eliza.flood remarked, "It’s funny how different dog personalities are! My parents’ mutt and my friend’s pit bull both act like they’re being tortured if you bathe them. They hate water!" @barber, who loved Tucker's mom's idea of making him happy, shared, "The sweetest thing you could ever do. He is gonna love you more than you can ever imagine. Good momma!" @bonafide_empress, who was impressed by the precious video, wrote, "Best video of the year! I could and will watch this over and over and over! On a bad day, this is the video that will always make me happy." @aunt_kathyann said, "Oh, I am so glad the boy got to go swimming. Tucker just looked so sad pining away for his swimming pool. I don’t know if he could have made it without this little dip. They both enjoyed it." @sarapitt wrote, "So sweet! I wish I could afford a pool for my dogs."
