A horse ate a girl's AirPods in a story that has us confounded: 'This only happens in movies'

Raising domestic animals can be as challenging as human babies, as they also demand equal attention and care. Just like new mothers running behind their toddlers 24/7 to ensure that they aren’t putting unsafe objects in their mouths, most pet parents also stay alert trying to safeguard them. On a related note, Marley, the proud owner of an adorable horse named Bailey (known as @bailey_horse_tricks5 on TikTok), posted a hilarious video shortly after her AirPod went missing—and guess what? Bailey had eaten them!

"I think I have found my missing AirPod," read the onscreen text as Marley showed the piece missing from her AirPod case, while Bailey stood next to her, completely unbothered. Marley then went near the horse's stomach and playfully pretended to hear inside, trying to find her missing Airpod. Interestingly, Bailey’s stomach seemed to be putting on a concert altogether, with faint music playing from inside. "Can’t believe she ate it haha!" Marley revealed in the caption.

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, @defnotisabella.xx commented, "Oh my gosh! I literally have that same. AirPod Case and my top half is missing too." @carson9645 wrote, "Stop, I thought this only happens in movies lol!" @liv_ts commented, "Well now you can listen to music when you ride lol!" @iitsalondraaa commented, "Give her the other AirPod so it can be louder." @echodoxie who was a little worried about Bailey's health commented, "Poor baby, hope he passes it ok without the battery causing issues." @show_cattle52 wrote, "The way she stopped singing when u closed the case."

@theonlyoldschoolthinker wrote, "Well now whiff has his own sound...Wait till morning he will leave it in a warm pile for you to pick through...laughing all the way...that's truly being Whiffed." On the other hand, @domp389 commented, "I lost one to a pitbull I was caring for those are the best moments ever." @mariahlynn1998 wrote, "My gelding ate both of them yesterday I'm still waiting for him to poop them out. The vet said when he poops them out you can clean them and use them some more I am like no." @0jennamarie wrote, "Look closer to the horse piles in the yard, you might find it."
