A mama dog that never let the woman near suddenly came running to her — and when she saw the puppy, she understood why

As reported by PEOPLE, animal lover Izabelle Abrencillo had been trying for months to gain the trust of the stray dog. Despite her efforts, the cautious canine always stayed away, never letting Izabelle get too close. Then one day, she noticed the mother dog standing anxiously over one of her puppies on the pavement. To Izabelle’s surprise, the dog didn’t run away; instead, she approached her, as if asking for help. The puppy was hit by a car and was lying on the road, unable to move. Without hesitating, Abrencillo gently picked up the small puppy and rushed to the nearest animal hospital.

At the clinic, veterinarians examined the puppy and found that while there were no broken bones or visible wounds, there were signs of internal bleeding. They decided to keep the puppy for several days for observation and treatment. Under the vets’ care, the puppy slowly began to recover, showing more energy and strength with each passing day.

When the day finally came to reunite them, the mother dog’s reaction said it all.
