Well, she thought she was simply sightseeing, capturing an adorable seagull, completely unaware that behind her, her boyfriend was down on one knee, holding a ring that would change her life forever.
In the wholesome TikTok post, Katie shared pictures that received an overwhelming response on social media, with over 7 million views online. "Me obliviously recording a seagull for 2 minutes straight while my boyfriend was trying to propose," she joked, sharing a hilarious picture of her filming the seagull while her boyfriend waited for the perfect moment. Everything about the moment was just so blissful—the scenic beauty, the serenity in the air, and, of course, the overwhelming joy that made time stand still. Yet, Katie remained unaware of it all. "But he was cute," she revealed, justifying her reason for being lost in capturing the seagull. Notably, there was another reason that made Katie oblivious to what was happening in her surroundings. It was the windy air.
"Guys, it was so windy I couldn’t hear anything; I was just focused on this little guy," she shared in the comments. "Very much describes me. Any animal will keep me distracted," Katie wrote in the video caption.
