With each passing day, the over-the-top, unreal advancement in the field of technology has become an integral part of modern society, driving innovation and efficiency. One such example highlighting how far we have come is a unique doorbell, designed meticulously to help fish travel through the canals and waterways of the Netherlands. Recently, Shiloh Hill (@shiloh_wwe on Instagram) took to his social media, announcing that the "Fish doorbell" is back in action. The WWE wrestler also explained the entire process of how the doorbell works, helping thousands of fish migrate through waterways.

"All right, nobody freaks out, but I just want to let you guys know that it's finally fish doorbell season again!" Hill announced, before explaining how the mind-boggling technology works. He flipped his phone camera to talk about the website, called "Visdeurbel," a Dutch word for "fish doorbell." He went on to share that a particular dam in the Netherlands has a little gate in it that can't be left open all the time. Hill further shared that to prevent excess water flow, the gate is opened periodically to let the fish through. However, when they soon realized that giant predators waited outside the gate to prey on the fish, they came up with a brilliant solution.

"So the solution they came up with was to live-stream the gates, and then people can watch it, and when a fish is waiting outside, you can ring this doorbell for the fish and let it through," Hill said. Moreover, the wrestler also captured a huge fish waiting near the gate, and with just one click on the website, the gate operators opened the gate, ensuring that the fish passed through it. "He's a monster. Let's go! Be free, buddy!" Hill spoke, letting out his uncontrollable excitement. The Instagram reel received an overwhelming response on social media with over 18 million views online.

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, @leetintex commented, "I don’t know how I stumbled upon this, but now I’m definitely 'hooked.'" Similarly, @liv.toxica wrote, "Maybe we should take shifts. Gotta make sure these fishies are taken care of!" @art_moreorless wished, "I hope this isn't blocked by the firewall at work, because this is going on the 2nd monitor when I get back from vacation. I can work off one screen anyway." @anna.mangnus commented, "The website keeps getting overwhelmed with how many people are watching the fish doorbell; it's so good." @bookbyjani shared, "I'm Dutch, actually wrote an article on this once, and I visited it as well; it was great. That was actually years ago, so this has been around for quite some time now."

They are determined to save every single fish and increase the fish population." @_nikki_marie_123_ revealed, "I missed this last year, so I created an event in Outlook for a reminder. I have had it minimized on the corner of one of my screens since opening day on my work computer." @kierstedw commented, "I have been watching this thing obsessively but clearly at the wrong time, as I have not been able to grant entry to ANY FISH." On the other hand, @nataliejpowers, a pet parent, wrote, "I want to teach my cat to press a button every time she sees a fish on the fish doorbell, entertainment for her and the fish go through the door."
