Just like humans face countless challenges while navigating life with disabilities and medical conditions, animals, too, encounter similar unpleasant experiences. Yet, with the love and support of the pet parents, these incredible creatures can not just survive but live a happy life. From ensuring their safety and comfort to making sure their disabilities don't let them miss out on big opportunities, some owners move mountains for their pets. For instance, meet the adorable pup who goes by @deafdogofmn on YouTube! Despite being deaf, this canine, Faith, has been living her best life. With her compassionate mom by her side, the inspiring dog has learned to communicate through sign language, and guess what her favorite word is? "Dad!"

The YouTube video captured precious moments every time her specially-abled dog responded to her favorite word. In the clip, Faith was peacefully lounging next to her owner when, with a simple gesture, the woman signed "Dad." Within the blink of an eye, the deaf pup instantly snapped to attention, proving that love needs no sound to be understood. Every time Faith saw her owner showing her the sign language for dad, she would immediately run and start looking for her father. Besides, this extraordinarily inspiring dog had also mastered the sign for "sister," but nothing brought her more joy than "Dad." It was undoubtedly her favorite word.

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, @hdshalom commented, "I’m glad you can teach your dog these words. Our deaf cat was so scared of everything and lived a life under sinks and behind the dryer his whole life. He’d get so frightened if someone came in the room, so I’d try to do things to notify him from afar that I was coming in. I saw his reaction once to a balloon popping; it scared him so badly. So I’m happy to see your dog can live a normal, happy life!" Similarly, @superhero5868 wrote, "Can't tell you how much I love this. My elderly dog has lost some hearing, and I have been trying to get him familiar with the 'eat' sign when it's his dinner time or snack. I think he's getting it, but being older, he's slower to pick it up. He used to know the names of almost all his toys...not so much now. Heart of a Champion, though!"

On the other hand, @amberc.2137 shared, "She is seriously so adorable. Do you know what breed Faith is? Or what may have caused her to be deaf? My cat is deaf. But I know that she's deaf from an infection she had as a very small newborn. I found her when she was about 2 weeks old, brought her to the vet, and never left her side. She is so calm and loves our other cat and both our dogs. I think she's calm because she never has to hear the noise of the outside world. She's my little princess!" @mirogintz, who resonated with the YouTube video, shared, "I had an American bulldog named Harley...knew many signs. Dogs are visually intelligent! I have been deaf since birth, and ASL is my primary language. We miss Harley! RIP Harley!" @sattooh revealed, "I love your family. Thank you for teaching me how to sign 'dad' and 'sister.'"
