Dog gets home from the vet and cranks up the drama — his Oscar-worthy act is putting Hollywood to shame

Remember those childhood days when faking illness was an easy option to dodge school? We all have been there, right? Getting that extra love and attention at home felt lovely. Interestingly, it turns out that just like humans, animals too fake illness. Yes, you read that right! Ellie (@elliemcgeee on TikTok), a mother to an adorable Blue Staffy pup named Arlo, shared a hilarious video proving that her four-legged baby is nothing short of a true theatrical genius! Well, Ellie captured Arlo before and after visiting the vet, and the dramatic change in his behavior would surely make your laughing your head off.

The moment Arlo left the vet, he looked just fine, walking with one of his front limbs bandaged, as if nothing had happened to him. But the situation was simply far from hunky-dory when Arlo was at home—dramatically limping around like every step sent a sharp jolt through his leg. Arlo's over-the-top acting left his owner baffled as she revealed that her dog was milking it for all the extra attention. Moreover, the pet parent shared, "He is definitely thriving for the drama. Jokes aside, he is having moments of pain throughout the day, but he’s got painkillers at mealtimes, and the vet is changing his bandage and checking the wound every 3 days," in the video caption.

She said, "He was zooming on the beach and ripped the outer and inner shell of his dewclaw down to the nail bed." After some days, when it kept bleeding, Arlo was taken to the hospital where the vet confirmed that his entire nail had to be removed.
