Dog parents reveal difference in how their girl and boy dogs kiss and one is basically a dental exam

In most cases, women's way of expressing love is completely different than their male counterparts. While women often tend to be more verbal, affectionate and emotionally expressive, men might show love through simple actions, playfulness, exaggerated physical touches, or even protective gestures. This profound difference is true in the animal kingdom, too. Don't believe us? Well, meet two adorably playful Golden Retrievers, Gamja and Chip (@gamjamypotato on Instagram), whose distinctive ways of exchanging kisses prove it all! 

In the now-viral Instagram video, the owner first introduced Gamja, the doting female pup, as she smothered Chip with gentle, soft, and affectionate licks, proving that her love language is all about tender kisses. Meanwhile, Chip, their male Golden Retriever, had a completely different approach to showing affection. His love language? Passionate and over-the-top kisses! Interestingly, he did not stop at just gentle, sweet licks—rather, Chip went all in, quite literally diving into Gamja's mouth with his enthusiastic smooches. "He likes it spicy," the dog owner revealed in the video caption. The reel received an overwhelming response on social media, with 2.9 million views online. 

Reacting to the hilarious video, @anthonyfong commented, "The boy dog be like, 'I see our humans do this all the time. Let me try.'" Similarly, @farnoush wrote, "He is checking her mouth hygiene!" @claire_and_meeka commented, "This should come with a parental advisory warning." @gamjachipdaddy reflecting more on Chip's nature, shared, "We all know Chippie is a little bit too much sometimes." @calliopes_lyre, who had an interesting observation about the difference between the dogs, shared, "Kissing inside the mouth is a pack dominance thing. In another endearing video shared on Gamja and Chip's official Instagram page, their owners perfectly captured Chippie's signature love language—what they affectionately described as "cuteness aggression." Notably, the mischievous male puppy constantly turned all affectionate moments into playful chaos the next moment with his love. Whether it was rolling on the ground, delicately nibbling on Gamja, or wrapping his paws around her neck in a high-spirited embrace, Chip was just a tornado of uncontrollable energy. While Gamja equally reciprocated his unique way of showing love, her approach was, of course, much softer and more tender.
