There is something incredibly special about all Golden Retrievers. Their boundless energy, innocence and playful nature can turn any ordinary moment into unforgettable memories. But there's one thing that these exceptional canine breeds can't do, and that is become "guard dogs"—thanks to their over-friendly nature. Well, we aren't saying this, but a pet parent raising an adorable Golden Retriever named Frank (@accordingtobelieve on TikTok) is, and he definitely has proof.

In the hilarious video, Frank could be seen excitedly greeting a delivery guy as if he had known him for ages. With a constantly wagging tail and uncontrollable excitement, Frank even followed the delivery guy to his residence. The delivery guy equally responded to the Golden Retriever's enthusiasm for meeting someone new, as he could be seen lovingly talking with Frank. After dropping off the parcel in the rightful place, the friendly delivery guy asked Frank to sit for a moment as he clicked a picture as proof of delivering the package. Further, the pet owner also shared a heartwarming picture they had received from the delivery company, showing Frank sitting in front of their house, beside the parcel. Simultaneously, the onscreen text on the screen read, "Why golden retrievers can’t be guard dogs"

The TikTok video received an overwhelming response on social media with over 15 million views online. Meanwhile, @amberquintel shared, "Our house was robbed when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure our golden retriever let them in and probably helped take our things." Similarly, @thereal_mrsjacksparrow commented, "My golden is a terrible guard dog. However, he is an EXCELLENT alert dog...a leaf blowing in the wind, and he will make sure I know about it." @mommameme83 wrote, "My FedEx driver is terrified of my blue Heeler who acts like a Golden Retriever. He even threw a box at her when she slowly walked up, just trying to say hello. So now we keep her inside."

@athomewithstephanie shared, "He gave the delivery guy a 2/10 on pets. The eyes in the photo show the disapproval." On a lighter note, @cedric.hull wrote, "I disagree; the picture clearly shows he's guarding the package." @wrncklaura commented, "Mine made friends with the house intruders, and I got scolded by one of them (while zip-tied) because I was telling him to be quiet, and I was supposed to 'let him have his fun.'" @heydudeva pointed out, "He would 100% help the criminals carry the TV out the front door and show them where the expensive stuff is hidden."

@serenegreen18 said, "The fact that he sat and waited for the picture! Lord have mercy, I’m in love. He’s like, 'Oh, are we taking a picture?' Adorable!'" On the other hand, @jullz408 revealed, "I swear my German shepherd has a golden retriever personality. He might bark at first, but he’ll be everyone’s friend. He tried leaving with the pizza delivery guy before." @alexandraxxw said, "My cat is a better guard. Every time someone comes into my house, he always gets mad and questions them."
