Grieving dog owner shares video showing how he would join in on make-up routine — and look stunning

At some point in life, everyone goes through the harrowing experience of losing someone dear. Although the pain never disappears, we somehow learn to carry it differently with time. The happy memories eventually become a comforting source to remember our loved ones. For instance, Kaja Sonik Zon (@kaja_macho on Instagram) lost her Pitbull, Macho, who lived for 8 wonderful years, bringing joy and delight. However, even after his unfortunate demise, Zon continues to honor Macho's memories by sharing heartfelt videos on her Instagram page. Recently, she shared another beautiful memory of Macho participating in skincare and makeup routines, just like his favorite human. 

In the now-viral Instagram reel, Macho was captured jumping into the frame whenever Zon was in the middle of any makeup or skincare routine. From applying relaxing face masks, putting on bright lipsticks, or getting his fake eyebrows done, Macho enjoyed every bit. With this innocent face and twinkling eyes, the adorable Pitbull would literally plead to Zon to let him be a part of the "girly routine." Meanwhile, the grieving pet parent, who has been emotionally struggling after Macho's demise, shared, "You are the greatest treasure I have ever lost, and heaven is truly fortunate to have you. In your honor, I am sharing a mix of videos with Macho that brought you so much joy," in the caption. 

The video received an overwhelming response on social media with several netizens offering strength to Zon during this difficult time. For instance, reacting to the clip, @bearmedinacreations wrote, "In one of our ways, it’s said that your dog waits for you in your afterlife and is the first thing you see at the River. When you meet again, they lead you to where your heaven may be. He’s with you always and will wait for you patiently." @therealveronika_ commented, "Omg!
