Holiday wishes took a sweet turn inside Khloé Kardashian’s home when her children made a special request ahead of Christmas. Their note to Santa asked for a puppy, but not just any puppy. The wording made it clear they had thought it through and wanted to avoid disappointment. The moment was shared later on social media, giving a glimpse into their festive excitement. The post appeared on Instagram on December 16, 2025, capturing a playful and heartfelt family tradition during the holiday season.

Khloé Kardashian, shared a photo dump filled with warm family moments. The pictures showed her children, True and Tatum, relaxing in their crib, playing in the bedroom, spending time with their pet cat, and posing beside a decorated Christmas tree. Other photos included Santa Claus, piles of toys, and even a visit from the Grinch. The final image showed the children’s handwritten letter to Santa. It read, “Dear Santa, please can I have a real puppy? I want a black Lab, make sure it is real. True and Tay Tay.” The careful emphasis on “real” stood out and added charm to the request.

The note quickly became the highlight of the post, with many pointing out the thoughtful condition added by the kids. One internet user, @megmildrew, joked, “Make sure it’s real. Haha, so cute.” While another, @livpraylove, wrote, “She said, ‘Make sure it’s real.’ I know that’s right!” Others dropped messages hoping the wish of the kids would be granted. @trendingaf commented, “I hope your babies get the puppy they want!” @daisy_and_duke_vintagetrailers remarked, “I can’t wait to see them get a puppy for Christmas. That’s the ultimate Christmas ever. Big blessings to you and your family!” Some also suggested choosing a shelter dog if the family plans to adopt. That idea carries weight, as shelter data by Shelter Animals Count shows that between January and June 2025, about 2.8 million cats and dogs entered shelters, while only around 1.9 million were adopted, a slight drop from the year before.

Kids asking Santa for a canine buddy is nothing new, and in another sweet story, this wish came true in the most heartwarming way. After a difficult year in 2020, Leticia Gonzalez wanted to give her four-year-old twins, Luna and Gianella, a special holiday moment they would always remember. She helped them write letters to Santa, tied the notes to balloons, and released them into the sky. It was meant to be a fun gesture, with no real expectation of an answer. Months later, a man hundreds of miles away found one of the balloons and discovered Luna’s wish list inside, which included toys, candy, and a puppy. Touched by the letter, he shared it with his community and began gathering the requested gifts. With help from others, he tracked down nearly everything. The families eventually met at a halfway location, where the twins were handed their gifts along with the puppy that they later named Max. The simple act not only got the kids a new puppy but also turned strangers into friends.
