Dogs share a very deep and compassionate relationship with humans, particularly the children. Their similarities in terms of a playful, quirky nature, social intelligence, curiosity, and loyalty among others create a natural bond, fostering companionship and trust. One piece of evidence of the same is a heartwarming video shared on Mosse + Poppy (@mooseandpoppy on Instagram), which captured an adorable Labrador struggling to contain her uncontrollable excitement around her human baby brother. The now-viral video received an amazing response on social media with over 8 million views.

In the endearing Instagram reel, the toddler burst into laughter, clearly amused, while the energetic Labrador bounced around with its tail wagging continuously. At one point, the lively puppy gently nudged her baby brother, making him sit down while still giggling. Undeterred, the dog kept joyful spinning in circles, seemingly determined to keep the fun going and encourage more laughter from her little human sibling. The precious moment underlined their heartfelt bond, built on love, trust, and, of course, laughter.

Meanwhile, reacting to the clip, @charlie_marbles commented, "Love it. The laugh. The scoots. The attempt to keep the zooms throttled back around the little one. So awesome!" @traciem commented, "Labs are the best with kids I have two named, Chocolate and Yellow. We had black labs when our nice and nephew were babies and they are truly gentle giants and great people's dogs!" @sophie commented, "'If I do the silly moves, the small human gets bamboozled and does his happy noise and it's the best sound ever. Must keep going'- this doggo, probably!"

Similarly, @lourenatta commented, "My son grew up with a yellow lab and it was the best thing that ever happened in his life." @janetmiletti wrote, "I love how the dog realizes it has a small area and just moves around in it and never knocks the baby down. What a good doggie! I adore these two!" @jillgaynor wrote, "The dog serms driven by the child’s joy. She seems to really enjoy the response she is getting, pausing occasionally to gauge her success. She even looks up at the person taking the video as if to say, 'How am I doing?'"

@lynngallagherkelly commented, "My lab used to act like this a lot. He was the sweetest ever. He knows he’s being entertaining for this toddler whom he loves. He may have an ear problem but this is a separate issue." @jeannehofer wrote, "I miss my labs, had 3 of them, NOT all at once. All rescue. Each one came into the house, walked around, went outside to the yard, smelled everything, came in laid down, and went to sleep. LOVE, LOVE those babies. Slept with both boys on their beds. Miss them! This little guy has the same laugh as my boys."

@ami.griffin wrote, "I had an English Lab that looked just like yours. Your pup and child are both precious. Hold them both dear. Time goes by so fast." @angela_gioia wrote, "That’s so cute! He’s so excited but seems to know he can’t jump on the little one or else he’ll knock him down. Not sure if the dog is a boy or girl, but they are doing their best!" @mikeadams wrote, "You can't tell me dogs don't have humor. The dog loves the laughter of that kid."
