Man builds his self-sustaining farm — and it's now home to stray animals and a wild parrot

Imagine owning a farm, surrounded by countless incredible animals that do nothing but shower you with unconditional love. Sounds like a picture-perfect life, right? Well, after spending years in Canada, Malu's (@savvyfish on Instagram) father, a true nature lover, moved back to Brazil to turn his dream of building a self-sustaining farm into a reality. A paradise for all eco-enthusiasts, his farm not only shelters several stray animals but also generously accounts for 80% of fresh fruits and vegetables that are directly grown on the site.

"My dad is the real-life version of a Disney princess," the woman spoke as she shared a heartwarming glimpse of her father's beautiful farm. Further, Malu explained that over 100 different types of fruits and vegetables are grown on the farm, and most importantly, nothing goes to waste. "In the past few months alone, he has harvested over 400 pounds of bananas," Malu added. Moreover, Malu went on to share how her father, over time, has rescued countless stray animals. "And right now the farm is home to seven cats and 10 dogs. All vaccinated, neutered, and living their best lives," she shared.

Apart from them, Malu's father also has a wild parrot who unexpectedly decides to live on the farm forever. "Even the guest house on the property reflects his love for nature," the woman said before giving her audience a sneak peek into her father's beautiful guest house. Interestingly, the house was built using bamboo and wood, both grown right on the farm. Not only that, the paint that was used to color the guest house was also from natural pigments found on the property's soil. "He's been following his dream of living in harmony with nature, creating a life where nothing is wasted and everything is connected. His goal is to share this way of life with others, inviting them to experience a world where the world is green," Malu concluded.

Reflecting more on her father's unique approach to living life to the fullest, she wrote, "Meet my dad, the real-life version of Snow White, who built a fairytale farm where nature thrives, animals find a home, and the gold is green," in the video caption. Meanwhile, reacting to the wholesome Instagram reel, @evonyevony commented, "I’m sure him watching you do this video meant the world to him. Nothing makes a dad happier than a proud daughter!
