Remember those wonderful days of friendly tug-of-war matches with friends and family? It would be all fun and games—until you face a fierce and undefeatable opponent. Now, imagine this, what if your opponent isn't your cousin or best friend, but a full-grown wild tiger? While most would back out with just the mere thought, Wayney H—who goes by @waynehowlettpl on Instagram—had the guts to accept a tug-of-war match against a tiger in Dubai. Want to know who won? The now-viral Instagram reel captured an intense tug-of-war between Wayney and a massive 400kg "Liger." Separated by a secured net enclosure, the man exerted all his strength and power to pull the rope, while the feline remained effortlessly still—showcasing its sheer dominance. Interestingly, there were people spotted around Wayney, enjoying the fierce game and motivating him for his sporty attitude. However, in the end, despite Wayney putting his best foot forward, he eventually lost against the tiger. "I just joined a long exclusive list of people who have failed against this mighty force of nature - the Liger (Tiger cross Lion 400kg bodyweight)," he wrote in the caption. The video received an overwhelming response on social media, surpassing 70 million views online.

Meanwhile, reacting to the clip, @jorgebarbón commented, "The tiger sitting very comfortably, and the man with the hemorrhoids out. Incredible!" @naomi commented, "Proof that hitting the gym six days a week still can’t beat a tiger who skips leg day." @burnedbeauty2018 commented, "Liger is waiting for the games to begin! Those are massive creatures." @noone commented, "That's for all bodybuilders. You can fix your look, but not your natural strength." @starsky commented, "Take notice that the tiger is not even one of those big Tigers, it is a middle-sized tiger. It shows you the power of these animals...can you imagine if it was one of those 400-pound Tigers?" On the other hand, @christopherlashley commented, "Guy has the wrong shoes on the wrong terrain, the tiger has all 4s planted on the right terrain gripping the rope with Its teeth."

@jacksonsgreatescape commented, "Big cat knows he doesn’t have to do a thing once he’s lying down. It would take three Waynes to make this rope budge." Similarly, @bm65jon commented, "That cat even understood physics, using the section the rope ran through and positioning off to the side for leverage." @combatsportsng wrote, "Yeah, but why not wear spike boots to aid friction? The Liger has it's claws or mud, a heavy contrast to your situation. Having said that, I'm sure the Liger would still win but it must feel different." @carloocchiena wrote, "Feels like the man would have done better barefoot.grip is everything. Even my 10kg dog can make me sweat with tug wars." @ericagordon wrote, "At first I wanted to give that guy a hug; he looks like he gives nice bear hugs. Then I saw the cat. Now I want to hug her. I don’t know what to do." @princepaul wrote, "You can’t pull that through with shoes on and on a concrete surface, the best way to get it done is barefoot and on sandy ground."
