Man goes to grab lunch but returns with a baby duck — Internet says, 'he's a keeper'

There is always this one person in every group who swears to keep just one pet, but transforms their entire house into a mini zoo. For true animal lovers, staying away from these incredible creatures is simply impossible. From stray cats and dogs to even squirrels and ducks, these people attract animals like magnets, and they wouldn't trade this quality for anything else. Similarly, Juliann Marie, who goes by @juliannmbrown on TikTok, has a friend named Abby, whose husband is one of those unapologetic animal enthusiasts who find comfort around animals. 

In a video shared by Marie, Abby captured her husband, who had gone to grab lunch, returning home with an unexpected guest. "What did you do?" Abby asked her husband, who was standing right in front of her, looking quite nervous. With a subtle laugh, the man shared that he saw a baby duck all alone at the store he had gone to, and there was no way he could've just left the duckling behind. "It was so sad being alone that I got it. I am going to put it out with our ducks so it has some company," he added. Further, Abby asked her husband to take the baby duck out of the box, sharing a glimpse of the adorable duckling. "Dad! He is going to be lonely, so he needs another friend," a child in the background said, perhaps backing their father's decision to bring the duckling home.

Meanwhile, @anitarose2222 resonated with the hilarious video and commented, "Omg, my mom and I impulsively bought a 'duck' from a pet store when I was younger, and it ended up being a swan!" @taquitotacos revealed, "My husband came home with three fancy rats. Had to spend 400 dollars on them. They are surprisingly sweet and smart animals."
