Pet parents can go to any extent to see their kids happy. From delightful treats to cuddly toys, making their furry companions feel at ease becomes their top priority in life. Meet Olivia (@oliviagoldenespecial on Instagram), an adorable golden retriever who suffers from paralysis, forcing her to navigate life with mobility issues. However, determined to make her baby girl enjoy a refreshing walk by the beach, Olivia's father did something incredible. The emotional moment reflecting a dog owner's love and empathy has gone viral, surpassing 43 million views online.

To help Olivia move around freely, her father surprised her with a custom wheelchair. The moment Olivia saw her dad approaching her, she started howling with joy, unable to contain her excitement. With open arms, the man gently lifted the puppy and placed her in the wheelchair, ensuring that she was comfortable and secure. The Instagram video further captured the father-daughter duo standing by the seashore while Olivia’s father encouraged her to take her first steps. Finally, with a little help from her dad, Olivia began walking by the shore. Her reaction was just priceless—As if she was experiencing freedom for the very first time.

In another dog story, Leonard, a 9-year-old Daschund also suffers from mobility issues because of a tumor pushing on his spine. However, during a school visit, when 11-year-old Emmett Rychner met Leonard, he wanted to help the poor puppy. “I mean, a lot of kids will say that they can do something, but to actually have that follow-through and persistence," Dana Holden, the pet's owner, shared with KARE 11. Initially, Rychner failed to build a perfect wheelchair that would support Leonard. "It wasn't big enough, it wasn't long enough and his legs couldn't slide all the way down into it," he revealed. Despite his failure, the young man created a more durable wheelchair with larger wheels, considering the dog's comfort. And this time, Rychner passed with flying colors. “It feels amazing. I just love finally seeing him walk,” he said.
