No matter who you are and what you have to offer, adopting a dog can get you a soul companion for life. Unfortunately, most people overlook stray dogs when adopting pets. Even though stray dogs can be wonderful partners, they are often neglected and left helpless on the streets. But what if we tell you that there exists a dog sanctuary in Costa Rica that is home to more than a thousand stray dogs? Well, Territorio de Zaguates, popularly called, "Land of the Strays," is a no-kill dog sanctuary that works as a home for abandoned puppies. Keegan Robin(@heykeeg on Instagram) shared an incredibly beautiful video featuring the dogs of the sanctuary.

"So, I am on a walk with about 800 dogs," Robin began as he slowly raised his camera offering a glimpse of the adorable canines following him. He explained that the sanctuary is built somewhere up in the mountains of Costa Rica and takes care of the stray dogs around the country. "There are dogs everywhere. I have never seen so many dogs in my life. It's heaven on Earth," he said, talking about his experience at the sanctuary. Further, Robin shared that people visiting the sanctuary get the golden chance to take a walk with the dogs. Any puppy keen to join in on the adventure does so and it seems to be their "favorite part of the day."

Contrary to the stereotype that stray dogs are usually wild and dangerous, Robin found all the fur babies at the sanctuary very friendly. "Every single dog is nice and it's like this pack mentality of being nice to each other and being nice to the humans. It's like they know that humans are taking care of them," he said.

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, @susanalperin commented, "So sweet but heartbreaking to see all these beautiful animals knowing they are the lucky ones and how many others are suffering on the streets. Wondering how they are funded and if there’s money enough to get them spayed or neutered." @wyattfornow commented, "They all look so healthy and well-fed. I can’t image the effort being put into this place and their friendliness speaks volumes as to how well-treated they are." @erinestrawberry wrote, "This is a wonderful thing they're doing I wish all countries did this including the US we have so many stray dogs being put to death when they could live out their life in the country many people would support it. I wish I had land and could do something like this probably on a much smaller scale but I've wished I could for a long time."

Similarly, @tannathechi commented, "I imagine this is what heaven looks like. What a beautiful thing, to rehabilitate all those gorgeous pups and give them a beautiful life." @pampryce wrote, "They all want a human to devote themselves to. The love and devotion of a dog is a gift from God and in return, they deserve love and devotion back." @nat.madrigal wrote, "Oh my god! I have been here and it’s literally the best day of my life. What a dream job to go walk them!! They completely take care of the stray dog population in Costa Rica! Now you never see stray dogs like before."
