Man thought his dog would be like Air Bud. But video captures reality, which is hilariously different

Remember the playful golden retriever, Buddy, from the 1997 movie, "Air Bud"? With his uncanny ability to play basketball, the adorable furball actually made many people dream about having a dog just like him. But not all golden retrievers turn out like Buddy, right? A pet parent learned this the hard way. When he got Barry, he likely pictured himself enjoying a refreshing game of basketball every evening, but he never expected what unfolded later. The man shared the hilarious video on Hugo The Malamute's (@hugothemalamute) official TikTok page. 

To depict how he actually envisioned having an Air Bud dog, the dog owner shared a glimpse of Barry's effortlessly shot through the hoop. The only hitch? Barry's grand finale was him landing right on his owner's face. But wait! This was just the beginning of a series of hilariously chaotic adventures of the quirky golden retriever and his disastrous attempts at making a basket. No matter what the activity was, Barry had just one absolute talent—smacking his owner’s face. Whether it was skateboards or trampolines, the puppy somehow always managed to crash-land right on top of his beloved human companion. The now-viral TikTok video received an overwhelming response on social media, leaving viewers in splits.

Likewise, in another funny dog story, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Wulfi(@corgis_of_happiness on Instagram), won hearts with her amusing attempt at burying a stick. The video captured Wulfi trying to dig a hole with her tiny paws while holding a stick in her mouth.

However, she messed up when instead of placing the stick vertically into the hole, she unintentionally placed it horizontally across the top. Moreover, when Wulfi attempted to cover it with soil, the dirt simply fell through the hole and left the stick exposed. Despite her miserable failure, the Corgi confidently continued trying to conceal it, much to the delight of viewers online. While Wulfi's cute banter unfolded on the screen, the caption read, "Wulfi likes burying her stuff, lately. No way is anyone going to find this stick."
