There’s nothing more exciting than the heartwarming sight of your pets waiting for you. Imagine after a tiring day at work, you open the house door, only to be greeted by your adorable fluff balls, who were eagerly waiting for your arrival. But what happens when those same loyal companions get frustrated over your tardiness? What was once a picture of pure excitement quickly turns into a funny (and sometimes tricky) situation as your pets let you know they are not too happy about your delay. One man (@deano19812 on TikTok) was in a similar situation; when he came home later than usual, he was shocked to find his dog, Bruce, sitting with a huge frown on its face. Further, on a lighter note, the pet owner jokingly compared his dog's reaction to "worse than having a wife."

"Look mate, I am sorry! I’m late. I had to go and do the shopping," the man tried to justify as soon as he stepped into the house, speaking to his dog. However, it seemed Bruce was not interested in hearing his owner out, as he gave him a deadly stare instead. Baffled by his dog's reaction, the man exclaimed, "F**k sake, look at the face," while explaining that he was only 15 minutes late. Meanwhile, Bruce, who was resting on his bed, finally lowered his head, as if signaling to the man that he wasn't particularly interested in hearing his excuse for being late.

"You moody little sh*t," the pet owner remarked followed by a heavy sigh, looking at his dog behave so oddly yet funnily. The now-popular TikTok video received an overwhelming response from the netizens online. While many laughed out loud at the cute banter, a few pet parents also found themselves relating to the clip.

For instance, @jonnyqpr wrote, "Never in my 28 years of existence have I seen a dog this genuinely devastated." @martakptnsn wrote, "But did you tell him you gonna be late when you left in the morning? I always tell mine, I’ll be a bit later than usual and why."@kristina.l.t wrote, "Yeah, that was definitely much more than 15 minutes late. I can tell. You gotta do better. Poor dog! Tax on that is a lot of cuddles and snacks." Similarly, @emojimoooo wrote, "Omg! This made me laugh. They do have the ability to make us feel so guilty. I have one like that."

Meanwhile, @soulshine.747 commented, "How could you, how are you gonna make it up though? Common courtesy to let him know you are going to be late, don’t do it again. He's well cute though." On the other hand, @winking.witch commented, "Try and remember he doesn’t understand. He thinks every time you leave him you’re never coming back." @transit_custom_sport commented, "Oh c’mon! How could you, how dare you! That face says you need to do better side note think yourself lucky you don’t have a GSD."

In the meantime, the content creator posted another heartfelt TikTok video, offering his followers a sneak peek into Bruce's Sunday mornings. In the video, the man was seen trying to wake up his pooch by playing with him, while Bruce initially lay there on the couch, only to become excited at the mention of going for a walk.
