Overjoyed shelter puppy melts hearts because of her reaction to mom finishing adoption paperwork

Even with the best facilities at adoption centers—cozy beds, tasty meals, and of course, loving staff—most dogs still crave a forever home. Every time they see visitors, they hope to find that one special person who will take them home, rightfully so, because no toy or treat can replace a family's warmth. Similarly, a video shared on Walton County Animal Services (@wcasfl on TikTok) captured an adorable stray pup, Veronica, brimming with uncontrollable excitement while her new mother completed the adoption paperwork. 

With eyes full of wonder, Veronica gently crept up to her new mother, who was caught up in the usual adoption documentation. Unable to contain her joy, the little pup wrapped her paws around the woman and smothered her with kisses as if thanking the woman for choosing her. Meanwhile, her new mom also equally responded with just as much love, caressing Veronica and reassuring her that she was finally going home. In fact, in the heartwarming exchange, it was clear that this was not just an adoption but the beginning of a beautiful bond. While the endearing moment played on the screen, the overlay text read, "You can't tell us they don't know when they get adopted...they most certainly do." The TikTok video received an amazing response on social media, with 1.3 million views.
