Dogs are super intelligent, no doubt about it! With proper training from an early age, they can be incredibly well-behaved. However, interestingly, there are certain habits that they pick up on their own—sometimes without their owners even trying to teach them. Don't believe us? Well, wait till you meet two adorable canine siblings from California. A viral video shared on their official TikTok page, @sonnychewie, captured the dogs' amusing reaction to their owner closing the pop socket —an apparent signal to them that the boring "doomscrolling" session has ended.

The hilarious TikTik video began with a cozy scene—the pet parent and the puppies snuggled up in the bed. But the moment the owner closes his pop socket, everything changes instantly. The once-drowsy dogs immediately woke up with uncontrollable excitement as if they'd just heard the best news ever. In the heartwarming clip, one of the dogs even leaped off the bed, as if asking its owner to join in the next adventure. As the endearing banter unfolded on the screen, the overlay text read, "I think I accidentally trained my dogs to think closing my pop socket means we are finally getting up from rotting." The video received an overwhelming response on social media with several other pet owners sharing their personal stories in the comments.

For instance, @knight_n_gale commented, "My cats know I snooze on the first alarm so the alarm is now their signal to cuddle me to try and convince me that I don't need to go to work today. On holidays I let them think they won." @masteroftnt70 commented, "I've accidentally trained my dad to think when I'm in the living room longer than 5 minutes, it's time for a walk." @emiesdrafts wrote, "My dog immediately jumps off the bed when she hears by pop socket close because she knows..." On the other hand, @jennifer wrote, "My husband accidentally trained my dogs that once he zips out his 'pouch' its time to head out for a 'walk.' As soon as they hear that zipper they get up so quick."

@missy wrote, "Omg! It's so bad, when I take my glasses off and close my arms, my cat jumps off the bed because she knows I'm done scrolling and it's time for food lol!" @candy commented, "My cats go NUTS when they hear the default iPad alarm because that means they are either getting fed or I've scheduled something interesting." @francinewashington wrote, "My dogs hear me take my glasses off and set them down and jump up and run to the bedroom. They've made that their bedtime signal lol! @mmbossmom wrote, "OMG! Mine does this when I put my phone on the nightstand... little does she know I'm just out of battery 'cause I forgot to plug in my phone as I was rotting in bed." @lanaspell wrote, "My dogs have learned the difference between me setting my mouse down on the mouse pad and working vs setting it down to the side out of the way to get up. Wild!" @esme wrote, "I accidentally trained my dog that putting on my windbreaker means we’re going outside so he gets excited when he hears me putting it on."
