Like Mowgli from "The Jungle Book", who adapted to life in the wild by mimicking his animal companions, a toddler raised with a Golden Retriever has started acting just like his furry companion. Well, it's not some fictional story but a laugh-out-loud reality for the Derise family. Frank and Erice Derise's only son, Frankie, grew up with his canine sibling, Beau (@beaunosebones on Instagram), forming a bond so strong that the two are practically inseparable. While watching the duo together is undeniably adorable—the funniest part? Frankie seemed to forget that he's NOT a dog! Don't believe us? Their parents shared a hilarious video that mentions all the reasons why!

The now-viral video began with a heartwarming sight of Frankie and Beau playing, but the real highlight? Frankie was sticking out his tongue just like his canine best friend! The couple even shared a picture where their toddler was captured perfectly mirroring the Golden Retriever's expression—making it impossible to tell who was copying whom! Not just that, the irresistibly adorable baby has also learned to pant and is often seen with a toy in his mouth, just like his Golden Retriever. But wait! There's more! Just like the typical dogs obsessed with a game of fetch, Frankie has picked up the habit too! In the wholesome video, the toddler was seen fetching with accuracy, just like his canine brother. "He just wants to be like his big brother," the parents shared in the caption.

Meanwhile, reacting to the Instagram reel, @ankitamalsingh revealed, "By this logic, our dog thinks he is the son. Every fruit belongs to him. You can't eat in front of him until he is fed or food is shared; he sleeps, plays, and poops at his own will, and we have to surrender… and HE plays fetch with us. He will drop the ball while running and then ask us to fetch it for him." Similarly, @dev shared, "There’s something to growing up with goldens that makes them think they’re one too!" @amiewhite wrote, "I just hope my kids take after my cats. Clean themselves and sleep 18 hours a day." @luke_and_leia_skywheeler said, "He has the best role model! And honestly, dogs are better than people, so good job for raising your son to be a dog!"

(I also want just an image of you all showing him and his friends these videos when he's a teenager and him being hilariously mortified!) On the other hand, @katbaltodano commented, "My little girl has three dogs. She's 4.5 months, and part of me is worried this will be just like her!" @ashwini said, "Humans raised by dogs become good citizens!" @bobbleai said, "Little bro is going to teach him 'how to text' as soon as he grows." @kriskouz commented, "This is the funniest and cutest thing I have ever seen!" @elf asked, "Don’t you know all of you are part of Beau’s 'pack,' and you are his family and he is part of your family? Loved it! Memories are the best!"
