Unbelievable footage shows 16-year-old girl risking her life to save scared horse from burning canyon

While horrifying wildfires continue to spread across Los Angeles, rescuers are working tirelessly to save not just residents but also the innocent animals caught in the devastation. Similarly, Kalyna Fedorowycz, a 16-year-old equestrian, turned up to rescue a horse that was too scared to board the transport trailer. Amid the chaos, the teen rescuer decided to ride the horse out of the canyon herself. Notably, Fedorowycz (@kkf_eq on TikTok) has been working closely with the horses, helping to transport them away from the Southern California wildfires, as reported by Good News Network.

In the now-viral video, Fedorowycz was captured trying to get the horse out of the danger zone. Amidst the smoke and burnt debris-laden street poles, the young equestrian remained calm as she guided the horse 14 miles along the road. Fedorowycz was sometimes riding, walking and even jogging while gently caressing the horse's neck, ensuring that she was not going anywhere. Interestingly, the teen rescuer's dad, who was just behind them in his vehicle, recorded the heartfelt video, showcasing Fedorowycz's selfless gesture. Sharing the clip on TikTok, she expressed her gratitude and wrote, "I thought I would post some of the videos my dad took as he drove behind me. I can not thank everybody enough for all of the love and support. I hope everyone stays safe!"

Meanwhile, reacting to the video, @kirstie_guy appreciated Fedorowycz's bravery and commented, "I am absolutely sobbing at this! The fact he is not even your horse and you are so young!
