Ever had a sibling fight because they stole the last slice of pizza from your plate? Or maybe you've gone to war over who gets the biggest piece of cake? Well, it turns out that just like humans, animals can be extremely possessive about their food too. Similarly, a hilarious video shared by Ruben Namibia (@rubennamibia on TikTok) perfectly captured this, showing Cindy the baboon's dramatic reaction to food thieves eyeing her food.

In the now-viral video, Cindy was sitting on a huge rock, happily savoring her delicious meal, when an unexpected visitor caught her attention. Well, it was a tiny insect, surprisingly bold enough to climb up the giant rock. The reason? A failed attempt to steal Cindy's food. However, in the blink of an eye, the baboon still focused on her meal, picked up the tiny intruder, and threw it away. But who would have thought the persistent little insect would dare to try again? With small steps, the bug once again attempted to scale the rock, only to be tossed away by Cindy—this time with even more force!

In yet another episode of Cindy vs. the mischievous food thieves, Jerry the Meerkat tried his luck at snatching a bite. However, instead of shooing him away, Cindy scooped him up and held him close to her heart. Simultaneously, the onscreen text read, "She’s just excited that he’s near." Well, while it might have looked like a sweet moment between the two, Jerry’s face said otherwise. Let’s just say that being Cindy’s cuddle buddy wasn’t exactly on his to-do list! "How Cindy the baboon reacts to different animals trying to take her food (this was filmed before Cindy became blind)!" Ruben revealed in the video caption.

Meanwhile, reacting to the TikTok reel, @cassi_n_southern.belle commented, "She is so unbothered. She's just like, Go away, like any of the other animals." Similarly, @rose shared, "So Jerry doesn’t like to be picked up so often? I’m assuming that’s why she did it!" @trisaratopsen shared, "Cindy is so rough! I love watching videos of her eating and drinking her tea. So wholesome!" @ashh revealed, "The way she threw the bug! This is respectful, nice, kind, demure, grateful, loveable, funny, calming, independent, caring, delightful, brave, encouraging, wonderful and one of a kind." @sherigibson said, "The tiny ones get handled delicately, the bigger ones get punched, and the cute ones get cuddled. I love it!"

@k.moore wrote, "It’s the fact that she’s not even being aggressive; she’s politely just face-mushing them away!" On the other hand, @stellaila wrote, "She understands her power over the insect and knows that the bigger animals need a little more force!" @pandeecoco resonated with Cindy's priceless reactions and shared, "I'd react the same if an insect also tried to get my food, and my name is also Cindy." @dalee commented, "She picked that bug in a way that was very demure, very precise." @luckynumbers45and47 said, "This is me with my kids after they bring me home their Halloween candy."
