Dogs are absolutely adorable! Their quirky and funny antics often leave people around them in splits. From running around the house like tiny tornadoes to zoning out in confusion while you talk to them, these furballs have an uncanny knack for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. On a related note, a pet parent Lizzy Lambertson (@lizzycoop5 on TikTok), revealed the hilarious reason why her adorable dog, Hank goes to the corner of a room every night and sits facing the wall.

Hank is an ardent cheese lover and that's why every night, at 8.pm, the bulldog goes and sits at its "cheese corner" and won't respond until Lambertson asks, "Is it cheese time?" Once Hank gets the much-waited response, it goes near the fridge and waits for the Swiss cheese. Reflecting more on the precious everyday moment, Lambertson wrote, "Cheese Hour," in the caption. Interestingly, replying to the comments, she also shared how this whole cheese hour tradition began. Initially, when Hank got home after a walk, the dog would be rewarded with cheese for being a good boy. "He then started pretending he wanted to go outside, take 1 step, then refused to come in until I said, 'cheese'. He’s streamlined his process," Lambertson added.

Meanwhile, reacting to the TikTok post, @musicnotes74 commented, "Mine sits in front of the fridge at 7 pm sharp every night. No idea how her alarm clock works so precisely. Her tax is turkey." Similarly, @caitlenlorene, another dog owner commented, "My dogs get the cheese tax when I eat cheese but I had to adjust the quantity based on inflation. They were not happy but this is NOT a democracy." On the other hand, @al wrote, "My dad and I were talking earlier about how our bulldogs are so much more toddler-like humans than they are dogs. They’re stubborn." @toadwalk wrote, "Weird. I have had up to 6 dogs in the last decade and none of them liked Swiss. The hound won’t even let it touch his lips."

@marihoffman commented, "We don’t call it a fridge anymore it’s literally the 'cheese holster,' you should have seen the panic when we moved it outside bc we were getting a new one." @taylorhenderson wrote, "My first bulldog used to refuse to eat his dog food until he sprinkled it with 'magic sauce'(Parmesan cheese)." @trevorcristodero2 commented, "I have a cat who is unfriendly and hides until you rattle the cheese paper or say cheese. She’s right there. Sometimes I call her at night when she won’t come in by asking, 'Do you want some cheese?'" @free_range_creampie commented, "My hank (pit/boxer) knows when the cheese drawer opens. And he’s very proper when cheese is being used. He prefers all of them. He’s gonna get a piece for this."

After receiving an overwhelming response to her post, Lambertson later posted another video, sharing glimpses of Hank and its obsession with cheese. In the video, the bulldog was captured walking to its cheese corner and sitting there while facing the wall. However, she missed recording the cheese time calling because of ADHD but shared a sneak peek into how Hank enjoys savoring the cheese. "I swear you can see him judging me," Lambertson added in the caption.
@lizzycoop5 Replying to @Nanders ok I TRIED and accidentally stopped recording in the middle because ADHD. Parm tonight because that’s all I had, I swear you can see him judging me #bulldog #cheesecorner #cheese #englishbulldog #cheesetax #cheesetime #Hank ♬ original sound - LizzyCoop
