Family checking their pet cam discovers something that melted their hearts — and only pet parents will get it

While achieving great milestones like celebrating birthdays and travelling together with your pets is great, sometimes it's the small, most random and spontaneous moments that hold the deepest meaning in life. This profound truth was witnessed when a video posted on @corgiturbopaws' Instagram page captured a woman spending some precious time with her dog.
In the video, the dog mom was recorded joyfully dancing, while her canine companion, an adorable corgi named Turbo, sat on the couch, clearly mesmerized by his mommy-dearest. In that moment, the woman didn't fully realize the true essence of the heartfelt time spent with her dog until a particular instance caught her attention while watching the pet cam footage. When the pet owner went and hid herself behind the couch, her beloved dog came running from the other side, as if ensuring his mother was alright. "This is what pure love looks like," read the overlay text, while the woman shared glimpses of herself cradling Turbo in her arms, just as any mother does with her kids. "Only pet parents will get it," the woman shared.
According to a report by News in Health (NIH), studies claim that human-animal interaction has positive physical and mental effects on people. It not only leads to decreased levels of cortisol (a stress-related hormone) and lower blood pressure, but interacting with animals can also reduce loneliness while boosting your mood. Further, Dr. Ann Berger, a researcher at the NIH Clinical Center, talked about how owning a dog, especially for those struggling with mental health issues, can be extremely beneficial. "Dogs are very present. If someone is struggling with something, they know how to sit there and be loving. Their attention is focused on the person all the time," she added.
