An office employee had a bright idea of doing a ‘bring your pet to work’ day and pitched it to his manager. While the busy manager was initially baffled by his co-worker, Caleb’s impromptu request, his wholesome reaction to the fun idea left every office worker envious. Moments later, a special soul walked in to everyone’s surprise and transformed the workplace vibes. The post shared on the TikTok page @loganvilleford, with 14.7 million views, was brimming with admiration for the manager and support for the heartwarming idea that was a total success

The viral clip unraveled with a candid glimpse of the manager working away at his desk while the employee toyed with the idea. “Asking my manager if we can have a bring your pet to work day,” the overlay note hinted. Entering his office, Caleb inquired whether Sir Todd, the manager, would be open to everyone bringing pets to work that day. “I know it’s wild,” said the employee while a look of surprise washed over the manager’s face. However, he was not prepared for the manager’s high-spirited reaction. Todd asked, “Is this for TikTok?” and seemed quite happy about it. “‘Cause if it is, I’m actually excited,” he quipped.

Meanwhile, Caleb joked that his manager was probably going to assign a new target for him. Quickly following up on his agreement, the employee suggested they invite their General Sales Manager, Lance, who had just gotten a puppy. When Todd informed that Lance was off that day, Caleb improvised with another request. “What are the odds you call him and ask him?” Surprisingly, the manager was once again on board and instantly dialed Lance on his phone. “Lance, you know, you’re off today and everything, but you think you could bring Stetson?” Todd asked. It was likely a positive response from the other end of the line as the manager’s face lit up with joy.

The clip then cuts to the GSM walking through the door with his adorable Bulldog, Stetson. The puppy was overwhelmed to meet everyone in the office and jumped into the manager’s arms. The ‘bring your pet to work’ day ended on a happy note and won 1.9 million hearts on social media. “Everyone needs an amazing boss like him,” said @alexiscrawford838, and @mscocoapuff noted, “Bossman understood the assignment.” “Why can’t all companies be this fun? Instead of being obnoxious and annoying all the time, I think every company should have this kind of fun day,” suggested @abdik250. “And that was the day that absolutely zero work got done, but everyone was unbelievably happy,” penned @samc8.3

According to Cesar, dogs in the workplace are a good idea to uplift morale and keep employees in good spirits. In a survey for a pet-friendly workplace, it was found that dogs have a soothing effect on stressed employees. 58% of respondents confirmed that having dogs at work boosts their happiness, and another 52% said it supports more social interactions.
