The baby had been sick, and the constant interruptions were frustrating the parents. “I was getting so fed up with him,” the mother admitted. It wasn’t just once; the dog kept waking the baby, despite being shooed away several times. But then, in a terrifying turn of events, the real reason behind the dog’s behavior became clear when the baby stopped breathing. The family rushed to the hospital and spent the night there. The dog’s repeated attempts to wake the child likely saved her life.
