‘Serial cheater’ trained his parrot to distract multiple partners for over a decade — until a dog’s blonde fur blew his cover
For over a decade, a 38-year-old man, Danny, meticulously managed his web of deceit, juggling multiple partners with spreadsheets, color-coded calendars, and even a trained parrot to cover his tracks. But one small detail finally exposed him. The story came to light in recently, and his empire of cheating crumbled when the blonde fur of a pet dog inadvertently exposed his lies.
As reported by The Sun on September 4, 2025, Danny spent years cheating on several partners at once and, in his own words, treating it 'like a sport.' "I had rules, systems, and spreadsheets. It was a full-time job that did not pay unless you count the free dinners,” he said. At the height of his deceit, the "serial cheater" was balancing relationships with six women and two men. To stay organized, he used a color-coded calendar to track his busy schedule. “Blue for girlfriend one, red for girlfriend two, and green for anyone casual,” he explained. When mistakes happened, he was quick to fix them. “Once, I double-booked myself and had to fake food poisoning just to reset the schedule,” he admitted. One of his sneaky hacks involved his parrot. Danny taught his bird to shout random phrases whenever his phone rang or when he had to leave the room, creating a distraction for his partner and helping him stay ahead of the situation.
Danny’s cheating tactics went beyond his parrot. He used three phones, one for regular life, and two hidden away in creative spots. He kept his second phone hidden in a can of Pringles in the trunk of his car, while the third one was concealed inside a fake plant in his living room. “Nobody ever checks the fig tree.” He also saved his girlfriends under fake names like builders or plumbers to avoid suspicion. "My girlfriend once saw six missed calls from Greg’s Plumbing and thought the boiler was about to blow,” he said.
“To avoid suspicion, I let all the pressure out of the boiler so we had cold water in the house for 3 days. When my girlfriend was at work, I then put the pressure back in the boiler and told her that Greg had saved the day.” But his perfectly crafted operation was exposed when the blonde fur of a pet dog led to his downfall. He recalled how, one day, he forgot to lint-roll his jacket, which was covered in the blonde fur of one of his girlfriend's pet Cockapoo, just before meeting another partner. “I walked straight into my girlfriend’s flat covered in blonde fur. She doesn’t even like dogs. That was it. Game over,” he said.
Pets, it seems, often play an unexpected role in revealing their owners' secrets. In another amusing incident, a British mom, Dani, discovered her husband’s hidden trips to the pub thanks to their Basset Hound, Shiloh. During daily walks, Shiloh repeatedly stopped at the same spot, leading Dani to uncover that her husband had been sneaking in for a "swift Guinness" at the local pub. The dog, it turned out, enjoyed the visits just as much, receiving plenty of attention and treats from regulars. Dani found it all quite funny and joked about it at home, with her husband laughing in response.
